Context
Kathputli Colony housed generations of puppeteers, magicians and street performers in west Delhi and became one of the country’s most-cited in-situ redevelopment cases. Cited, but rarely recorded from inside.
Role
Research Intern — Prof. Poonam Prakash, Ms. Ankita Mandal
Documented the planning case, capturing its evolution, challenges and successes. Conducted on-site visits to gather firsthand information, interviewing community members and stakeholders. Compiled comprehensive reports detailing the planning strategies, community engagement processes and project outcomes, and used visual and multimedia material to carry the documentation.
