Context
The World Urban Forum is UN-Habitat’s global conference on cities. NIUA carried India’s presence at the eleventh session in Katowice — a pavilion, an exhibit, a run of networking events and a set of knowledge products. The institute needed one document that could hold all of it together after the fact.
Role
Research Fellow
Contributed to the design and communication process for World Urban Forum 11 within a team of three at global level. Collaborated on the official video script for NIUA, setting out the institute’s involvement and contributions. Drafted comprehensive reports synthesising research findings and key insights from the Forum.
Process
The report is built as a survey: overview, presence, exhibit, knowledge sharing, networking events, event gallery. Editorial spreads alternate a solid teal field carrying the section name with a white field carrying dense text and evidence — so the eye can find a section at a flick and still read closely once it lands.
